Ideal Network Solution
LevelOne is pleased to introduce PIS-3100, an extension of its family of Power over Ethernet (PoE) products. The PIS-3100 transmits both power and data using only a single Cat. 5 Ethernet cable. This gives users greater flexibility when choosing a location for a device. They do not need to worry about nearby AC power outlets or building a new power infrastructure when using PIS-3100.

High Power PoE
The PIS-3100, a high power PoE kit, contains two units: PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) and PD (Powered Device). PSE has a maximum output power of 30W. If it overflows, overloads, short-circuits, or overheats, the PSE automatically shuts down and restarts once the issues are solved. The PD is able to separate the data and power. This adds PoE functionality to non-PoE devices whose power consumption is up to 24W.

Cost-Effective Solution
Now companies can easily build networks which require high power such as: VoIP, wireless access points, and IP surveillance. This is a cost-effective way to protect their original investment by saving the need to install power cables and outlets. It's also a great way to add flexibility to a network.

Simple Large-Scale Deployment
LevelOne also offers a 19” PSE rack, POI-2100, that accommodates up to 8 PSE devices. This allows users to create a large PoE network in an organized and easy plug-and-play environment.
